2nd shift Maintenance Technician

Technician Responsibilities

• Completion of all Preventive and Predictive work orders generated by EQMS.
• Goal is 92 % completion.
• Responsible for communicating potential failures discovered during PM activity and scheduling the repair activity.
• Aids in the development, procurement, installation, and evaluation of new production equipment.
• Aids Engineering with tooling modifications when necessary.
• Obeys all safety rules and policies.
• Responsible for their own personal safety and that of their fellow employees and follows safety standard operating procedures (SOP’s) specific to their job.
• Immediately reports and hazards or any defects in the equipment, which may endanger themselves or another employee, to their Supervisor/Manager.
• Properly wears the Personal Protective Equipment provided by the employer as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in maintenance, preferably in automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with all safety features and requirements for the safe operation of equipment/machinery.
• Extensive experience of maintaining machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components.
• Ability to understand and follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
• Effective communication skills.
