2nd Shift Interfold Operator (Mon.-Thurs.) 8pm - 6:30am

About the role

Set up and operate the packaging line to produce product that meets quality specifications, maintain the machine systems, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot common machine or quality problems.

Responsibilities

• Check the order sheet to determine order sequence and specifications (ensure the correct metal is used).
• Set up and complete initial thread-up of the machine.
• Perform a quality check at least once each hour and record results on the Daily Quality Inspection Report.
• Monitor the process, correct jams, and address other problems that occur.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the line to GMP standards by removing cartons, trash, dust, and debris.
• Troubleshoot minor quality and machine problems; communicate complex issues to maintenance.
• Prepare metal as needed and complete forms to document substandard material.
• Lubricate machinery as required.
• Perform any other duties as requested or required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for ten hours (twelve during busy season) and walk up and down steps.
• Able to remove and replace mandrels.
