Job Overview

This position will be responsible for setting up and running the extrusion machine and performing quality checks to verify finished material is in compliance with quality specifications. Daily interfacing with the Planning/Scheduling team to forecast downstream product needs. Regular communication with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate the extrusion machine.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished material meets specifications.
  • Collaborate daily with the Planning/Scheduling team to forecast downstream product needs.
  • Communicate with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve machine performance issues.

Requirements

  • Experience with machine set‑up is highly preferred.
  • Basic machine shop knowledge and ability (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure products for conformance.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum weight of 30 lb.
  • Frequent extension of arms and hands between knees and shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
  • Frequent standing and walking required.
  • Access to information subject to ITAR or EAR controls; applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees.

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.00‑$20.00 per hour plus a 10 % shift differential for working 2nd shift (subject to change based on location). Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
