2nd Shift - Gridline Operator

About the role

The Gridline Operator 2nd Shift position at Pentair, located in Manitowoc, WI, requires a combination of mechanical assembly skills, equipment operation, and adherence to engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate grid oven, washer, conveyor conveying equipment, and tube bender
• Assemble partitions and evaporators
• Inspect and perform minor repairs on evaporators
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings and instructions
• Perform waste treatment procedures as required
• Complete necessary paperwork and use a computer
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Successfully complete Grid Line Operations certification within 2 months
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly and equipment operations
• Ability to read and use measuring equipment
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and lowering weights
• Steel-toed shoes required on the distribution floor

Pay

The hourly pay for this role is $23.80/hr with an additional $1 shift differential. Opportunities for a rate increase are available after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training.
