2nd Shift - Fueling Operator

About the Role

Fuel operators are responsible for fueling each trailer on the dock daily, ensuring all units are working properly, and maintaining the fuel truck. Operators also assist with loading and unloading trucks and other miscellaneous projects or assignments throughout the greenhouse as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fuel all trailers daily.
• Maintain fuel levels inside the fuel truck, ensuring it is full at the end of each shift.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Fluency in reading, writing, comprehending, and speaking English.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This position is primarily outdoors but may require working indoors for administrative duties, including the use of computers and standard office equipment. The role involves exposure to outdoor elements such as dust and allergens.

• Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, reach, and twist regularly to fulfill essential duties.
• Capability to operate machinery, including driving switcher trucks.
• Consistent ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
