Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of warehouse employees through proper use of harnesses, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment.
  • Provide problem-solving solutions for opportunities related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
  • Drive performance by collaborating with production and customer service departments to achieve 95% on-time delivery.
  • Supervise receiving, storing, and inventory management to maintain 98% cycle count accuracy.
  • Ensure inspections of incoming material for supplier quality compliance.
  • Direct planning and assignment of work for efficient use of personnel and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 years of supervisory or lead experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of warehouse experience.

Physical and Mental Demands

The role requires regular use of hands to lift, move, and manage materials, tools, and controls. The employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Routine lifting includes up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 60 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. The employee must be able to hear equipment and forklift horns, work alone on a forklift for extended periods, and collaborate with others as needed.

Working Environment

The work environment is typically moderate in noise level but can become loud near operating equipment. Hearing protection and safety glasses may be required. The employee must be able to work safely in this environment while performing the essential functions of the position.
