About the role

Taylor Corporation is looking for a 2nd Shift Equipment Operator to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate digital printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, reorganizing as needed to meet deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for the job and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability.
• Good reading ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work with very close tolerances.
• Strong communication skills with team members.
• High degree of analytical skills.
• Good color discernment.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
