2nd shift EGR Coolers Tubemill Operator (LG516) Full-time

About the role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and skilled EGR Coolers Tubemill Operator to join our manufacturing team in Bartlett, United States. This position is part of the bargaining unit and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment to weld tubing based on prints, work orders, and instructions.
• Set up, adjust, and operate tube mills/welders to form tubing using resistance, inert arc, or gas welding processes.
• Load strip and guides through “lead-in” or profile rolls to form tube in preparation for welding.
• Adjust welding equipment to achieve proper weld.
• Cut tubing to length and place in temporary storage racks.
• Perform “burst” test to check weld quality.
• Change out weld rolls and blades.
• Perform weld section mounts and other quality checks.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Basic proficiency in English required.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• 1 year of experience operating automated machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred; tube mill experience is a plus.
• Candidates without prior manufacturing experience will be considered if they demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring and inspection equipment.

Pay

Base Hourly Pay: $21.46/hr; 2nd shift premium as applicable: $1.00/hr.
