Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment written test is required.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, motors, valves, and power transmission equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment and facility systems with minimal supervision.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, adjustments, alignments, and mechanical rebuilds.
  • Work from maintenance manuals, prints, work orders, wiring diagrams, schematics, codes, manuals and instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, prioritize maintenance needs, and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours as needed to support production and maintenance requirements.
  • Must be able to lift, climb, bend, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial conditions as required.

Additional Information

This position is part of the bargaining unit and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Base Hourly Pay: $37.13/hr; 2nd shift premium as applicable: $1.00/hr.
