2ND SHIFT CUT FLOOR SUPERVISOR

About the role

The JBS Pork team is seeking a 2nd Shift Ham Line Supervisor. This position leads hourly team members to attain production and quality goals while ensuring the safest working environment. The supervisor manages and owns various business functions, fosters an engaged and team-oriented workforce, and drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership (40%)
  • Ensure effective and efficient operations with a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain production practices that support the facility’s food safety program.
  • Monitor product quality and production operations to meet customer expectations.
• Safety (30%)
  • Champion safety processes, ergonomic efforts, and accountability for co-worker safety.
  • Actively work to prevent and eliminate hazards that cause injury or illness.
• Engaged Employees (30%)
  • Create an environment where all team members are active participants in the business.
  • Recognize and celebrate successes; challenge employees to exceed expectations.
  • Provide opportunities for growth and development.
  • Ensure an inclusive environment representative of the local market.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing operations work experience.
• 3 points or below on attendance (internal applicants only).
• Ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to travel as business needs dictate (0-5%).

Qualifications

• Bilingual (preferred but not required).

Physical Requirements

• Desk work.

• Climbing stairs.

Pay

Base Salary: $60,591 – $73,618

Schedule

Monday–Friday (weekends as needed, flexibility required).
