2nd Shift CNC Machinist (Turning)

About the role

Manufacture products to print using various manual and CNC machine tools. This position is on 2nd shift, working four 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM). A mid-shift option may also be available. Overtime is typically available on Fridays for a partial shift. This position is eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture parts to specifications
• Inspect parts for quality
• Follow safety procedures
• Complete correct documentation (timekeeping, BOMs, prints, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as general maintenance and housekeeping

Requirements

• Machining experience in a related industry preferred
• Machine tool technology degree (2-year) preferred
• Ability to set up and run various programs on machine tools
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred
• Comfortable using various computer software
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The pay range for this role is $25 – $35 USD per hour, dependent on skills and experience.
