2nd Shift CDL A Local Yard Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Class A Yard Driver to join our team, working Sunday through Thursday from 12pm to 8:30pm. This is a home daily position, offering competitive pay and benefits, growth opportunities, and a safe, inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Move tractor trailers to/from loading docks and park loaded or empty trailers in designated areas.
• Transport tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities, requiring local city driving.
• Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Report safety issues, hazards, and required repairs.
• Handle and return paperwork related to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities.
• Ensure tractors, trailers, and freight are locked and/or secured at all times.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in tractors, loading dock areas, and trailers.
• Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6-12 months of tractor-trailer experience (internal candidates may be promoted with less experience based on performance and driver training program requirements).
• Ability to work scheduled, assigned times and required overtime.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.

Pay

Earn up to $26.00 per hour, based on experience.
