Duties And Responsibilities
- Completes work orders and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations and type size and hole patterns of rivets.
- Removes together adjoining edges of parts and assemblies.
- Aligns and assembles parts to be riveted, using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence).
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
- Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
Miscellaneous
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- This role requires an average knowledge of Microsoft Office.
