Introduction
This position reports to Assembly Line Supervisor and Assembly Lead. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.
Assembly Team Member
- Assembles landing gear legs and components of.
- Works independently and collaborates with others to contribute to the success of the assembly team.
- Logs and completes training documents.
- Performs tasks safely in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
- Rotates daily between various positions/stations as required.
- Communicates courteously with coworkers, supervisors, and other JOST teams.
Requirements
- Completion of High School education or GED.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment safely and productively.
- Dexterity to work in all assembly areas with varied part weights and sizes.
- Highly dependable, motivated, and possesses a high degree of attention to detail.
- Uses applicable hand and power tools, including grinding tools.
- Mechanically inclined or previous assembly experience.
- Understands and strictly abides by Work Instructions (WI).
- Gains knowledge of, understanding of, and abides by JOST’s Basic Processes and company products.
- Complies with quality, environmental, and safety policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly and repetitively walks, stands, sees, hears, uses hands, reaches, stoops, bends, twists, and lifts or moves objects weighing a minimum of 5# pounds to a maximum 51# pounds with or without assistance.
