Millwork Assembler - 2nd shift (2PM - 10:30PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Performs assembly of interior and exterior doors
• Work at various machine centers as needed
• Verify accuracy of work orders to materials and assembly instructions
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers
• Inspect all materials for defects and appropriate quality/condition
• Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily
• Maintain clean working area
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance)
• Engage in all required safety programs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Basic High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
• Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
• Capacity to read tape measurements
• Familiarity with millwork
• Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN)
• Prior experience with manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines

Physical Ability

• Capacity to stand during the entire work shift
• Work in tandem using safe lifting practices
• Continuous lifting and /or moving up to 25 pounds, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
