2nd Shift 1st Processing Superintendent

About the role

The 2nd Shift 1st Processing Superintendent oversees the efficient operation of the 1st Processing department at the Marietta, GA facility. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the 1st Processing department to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all employees are trained on HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs.
• Monitor production levels and adjust schedules as needed to meet demand.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with food safety standards.
• Develop and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the food processing industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Skills
