Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to creating a classroom environment aligned with KTEC's mission, vision, and values.
• Seek and utilize feedback for personal and professional growth.

• Manage classroom effectively to support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth of students.
• Provide rigorous and engaging lessons that meet grade level standards and address diverse student needs.
• Create a classroom environment where all students feel accepted and challenged.
• Communicate with parents using various methods as needed.
• Guide placement procedures and participate in placement meetings for newly referred students.
• Select curriculum, equipment, classroom supplies, and other materials.

Requirements

• Solid educational background with a bachelor’s degree in education.
• A current and appropriate Teaching License from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
• Evidence of competencies in classroom management, learning strategies, individual and group management, curriculum development, and program evaluation.

Work Environment
