Responsibilities
- Setting Others Up for Success: Ensure the store crew is trained and prepared to meet expectations.
- Coaching and Inspiring Crew Members: Regularly coach and inspire crew members on how to improve and what they excel at.
- Promoting from Within: Participate in interviewing, hiring, selection, development, and management of the store team.
- Instilling Importance of Customer Service: Focus on improving the customer experience and ensuring execution of identified solutions.
- Achieving Operational Excellence: Partner with the management team to ensure effective and efficient management of all processes and tasks.
- Managing Business Disruptions: Occasionally manage business disruptions such as loiterers, solicitation, emergency weather situations, and bathroom misuse.
- Leadership & Professionalism: Maintain professional and respectful communication, advocate for company objectives, mentor department managers, and create a positive store culture.
- Rolling Up Your Sleeves: Train on all aspects of store operations and work with the crew in various departments.
- Getting the Job Done: Full schedule availability required, including evenings and weekends.

- Strong leadership skills: Ability to inspire others and gain trust and credibility with team members.
- Effective under pressure: Stay calm in challenging situations and interact professionally with employees and customers.
- Patience and understanding: Work effectively with others and adapt to various learning styles.
- Organizational skills: Must be able to obtain forklift certification and demonstrate excellent organizational and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and independent: Capable of working independently and meeting all deadlines.
- Full schedule availability: Including evenings and weekends.
- Training experience: Demonstrated success in training individuals and groups on various topics.
- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide clear direction and training.
- Staff management experience: Plus, staff management experience is beneficial.
- Changing priorities: Effective in managing changing priorities.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills: Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Customer service skills: Shows interest in natural/organic foods and supplements and demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Technology proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
