2nd and 3rd Shift Maintenance Tech FULL TIME

Schedule

Monday to Friday
2nd shift: 2:30pm–11pm; 3rd Shift: 10:30pm–7am
Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

Requirements

• Must complete a background and pre-employment drug screen
• Must complete a pre-placement screening to test ability to perform physical requirements of the position
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• One to three months of related mechanical experience and/or training
• Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water
• Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment
• Good balance on slippery surfaces
• Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments
• Coordinate with team members to diagnose problems and repair equipment
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
• Repair equipment breakdowns in a timely and thorough manner
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment
• Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment
• Other duties as assigned
