2nd & 3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance

Manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician(s) to work in our manufacturing facility located in Wyoming, MI. 2nd and 3rd shift available. Our facility includes Extrusion, Punch presses, CNC mills, saws, formers, and an Anodizing/Electro Plating line.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment, as well as regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility.
• Prioritize repairs, activities, and events in accordance with production demand.
• Effectively communicate with interdepartmental and external departmental personnel.
• Conduct routine mechanical testing of plant equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with experience troubleshooting equipment.
• Basic understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical.
• Work history that includes good attendance.
• Commitment to complete work with safety, quality, and efficiency in mind.
• Willingness to learn on the job and work with a variety of machines and processes.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• 3 years of maintenance experience is preferable.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work while wearing PPE equipment.
• Ability to provide own basic tools.
• Electrical and Controls knowledge.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Maintenance experience: 2 years (Required).
• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Required).

Work Environment

This job operates in a plant environment within a manufacturing/warehouse/shipping facility. The office area has a controlled climate, while temperatures vary in the plant area. This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing, kneeling, and crawling.

Pay

• 1st shift starting pay: $26.15/hr, $26.15-$27.65 after 6-month review.
• 2nd & 3rd shift starting pay: $26.65/hr, $26.65-$28.15 after 6-month review.
• $0.50 shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift.

Schedule

• Full-time position with mandatory overtime.
• Standard days/hours: Monday – Saturday, 10-hour days, 60 hours per week.
• 10-hour shift.
• Night shift.
• Overtime.
