2ND / 3RD SHIFT HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR-PAYROLL SPECIALIST

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Track and coordinate compliance to Absentee Control Policy
• Handle confidential Human Resources information
• Maintain adequate records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Enter and maintain employee records information into HRISEmployee Relations
• Aid HR staff with various clerical/administrative duties as needed
• Run daily payroll reports
• Edit and maintain payroll records per supervisors' request
• Filing payroll records
• Handling all payroll issues concerning clock times
• Working on temporary labor hours and other data
• Performing accounting duties as assigned
• Completing miscellaneous accounting projects for Accounting Manager and HR Manager

Basic Skills & Qualifications

• Previous timekeeping / payroll experience required
• Proactive in a high paced, deadline-oriented environment
• SAP and Kronos experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel experience and proficiency in all other Microsoft Office software
• Strong leadership skills
• Effective communication and working closely with Accounting Manager
• Setting goals and meeting deadlines
• Results oriented, excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills
• Computer knowledge required (prefer experience with PeopleSoft/SAP and proficiency in MS Office)
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Good attendance record (less than 3.0 points, for internal candidates)
• High School degree required, some college preferred
• 2 years’ human resource experience preferred
• Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
