$28/hour | Level 3 Maintenance Technician

About the role

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Level 3 Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of common areas, hallways, parking lots, and building exteriors to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Perform basic repairs such as replacing light bulbs, resetting circuit breakers, and unclogging drains.
• Assist in changing HVAC filters and monitoring system performance.
• Repair or replace door locks, handles, and hinges as needed.
• Assist with painting, drywall repairs, and other minor carpentry tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance shop, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and handling hazardous materials.
• Respond promptly to work orders, providing updates on status and completion.
• Support higher-level technicians during complex repairs or installations.
• Document completed work and report any recurring issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements

• 10 to 20 years of experience.
• High School diploma or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong experience in all trades with emphasis on carpentry.
• Must be able to lead, train, and work independently.
• Carpentry and plumbing skills needed.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to learn and work within property management and work order software systems.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional property site visits.

Pay

$28/hour

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
• Flexibility to work on-call rotation nights & weekends.
