26 Week On/Off Anesthesiologist - UPMC Northwest - Full Time

About the Role

Anesthesiologist opportunity with a collaborative team supporting UPMC Northwest, a community hospital in Seneca, Cranberry Township, PA. The facility features 96 private rooms (expandable to 126 beds), a 28-bed behavioral health unit, a 16-bed transitional care unit, and a 9-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. The environment emphasizes quality, safety, and work-life balance with equitable staffing and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures (general, urology, endo, and more)
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patients' physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Schedule

• 26 weeks on / 26 weeks off schedule option
• Two continuous weeks per month, Monday through Friday
• No call required

Pay

$400,000 annually with a $75,000 sign-on incentive.
