26 Week Cardiac Anesthesiologist - OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center - Full Time

Cardiac Anesthesiologist opening with a private Catholic, non-profit hospital in Rockford, IL. OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is a designated Level I trauma center with a nationally ranked heart program. The hospital is dedicated to serving the diverse community of Rockford, IL, and features outstanding surgeons and a highly supportive team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures, including light OB, cardiac, healthy peds, ortho, spine, general, GYN, and advanced cardiac procedures such as robotic cardiac, TEVAR, TAVR, robotic lung resections, and more.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Pay

Salary: $550K annually, with a $100K sign-on incentive and a $50K cardiac stipend.
