About the role
Monitor, maintain, and control all steps of inlet gas flows through the inlet separators, dehydration, recovery, and residue systems ending at the sale meters, and the recovered liquefied petroleum gases to sales.
Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment for safety problems, leaks, or wear and tear, and make or recommend appropriate repairs.
- Apply good working knowledge of process equipment including Inlet separators, dehydration system, cryogenic system and turbines.
- Perform light maintenance work; change process filters, grease and oil equipment, replace fan belts, operate manual valves and general equipment upkeep as needed.
- Use computer programs: Word, Excel, Wonderware, and Email.
- Review and monitor prior shift to check for accuracy, daily computer log and scan process board.
- Record gas volumes and process analyzer readings, and make necessary changes.
- Gauge and record daily tank inventory.
- Monitor and maintain process readings on daily log sheets (inside and outside readings of entire plant).
- Work alone; acknowledge, respond to, and initiate corrections/action to process alarms.
- Monitor and maintain all control loops in the plant.
- Monitor and maintain truck loading area.
- Drain or recover fluids from containments to prevent spills.
- Monitor and maintain security of plant entrances by checking identification and recording names of visitors.
- Conduct and/or coordinate ongoing maintenance and general housekeeping of the plant.
- Procure necessary materials and supplies to complete daily tasks.
- Read automatic gauges at specified intervals to determine flow rate of gas.
- Monitor and maintain logs of meter readings, test results, and adjustments made.
- Adhere to the company's values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.

- Adhere to established work schedule, attendance standards and be punctual to work and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Five (5) years minimum gas processing plant experience, or certified as a gas plant operator.
- Preferred: experience with gas conditioning and treatment.
- Ability to work 7 on & 7 off schedule, taking callouts as needed.
- Ability to accurately troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Ability to accurately perform tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Education Requirements
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent, or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
