26/27 SY SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (WA STATE CERT)

Essential Functions

• Provide instructional teaching support to district's schools/departments
• Provide coverage for absent teachers throughout the school district

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or University
• Current Washington State Teaching Certificate
• Experience working with children in an instructional capacity
• Successful substitute teaching experience and effective work with school age students
• Ability and desire to work on a constant basis minimum requirement 4 times a month
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance

Other Information

• Applicants who DO NOT currently hold a Washington State Teaching Certificate but meet all other requirements may consider applying for the Emergency Substitute Teacher Position.
• This Substitute position is screened and hired by the Substitute Services Office ~ SubServices@puyallupsd.org
• Selected Applicants will be contacted by Human Resources and will be required to complete the Substitute Onboarding Process, which includes;Onboarding PaperworkOfficial College Transcripts (BA Minimum) sent directly from the college/universitySubstitute Online OrientationSubstitute Onboarding Appointment (Includes scanning of fingerprints)
