26-27 SY Golf Head Coach

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the golf program at Baptist Hill High School, overseeing practices, matches, and player development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the golf program including practices, matches, and player development
• Develop and implement training programs to improve skills and performance
• Manage team logistics, including scheduling and travel arrangements
• Work closely with the Athletic Director and other school staff to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies
• Attend and participate in meetings and events as required

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• A strong background in golf instruction and player development
• Experience managing a high school athletic program
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and community members
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities

Skills

• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in using technology for administrative tasks

Schedule
