About the role

The Percussion Technician provides instruction for the marching percussion program, including the front ensemble and/or drum line during marching season, and assists with percussion ensembles and percussion instruction during concert season. The Percussion Technician is expected to contribute to the overall success of the band program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare students for performances, rehearsals, concerts, and contests
• Maintain high musical and performance standards
• Attend rehearsals, marching contests, home football games at which the band performs, and concerts
• Assist with student supervision
