About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Direct Care Worker to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor and document clients' health status, reporting any changes to supervisors.
- Assist with mobility and transportation as needed.
- Follow care plans and adhere to all safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in direct care, caregiving, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation may be required.
