257985 (SM) Specialist Physiotherapist

About the role

The post holder will deliver physiotherapy assessment and intensive rehabilitation to patients who have suffered complex polytrauma on the dedicated Major Trauma Ward.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, concentrated rehabilitation to patients following major trauma in a safe and supportive environment.
• Show evidence of clinical experience of work in a wide variety of core Band 5 rotations, as well as showing particular interest and experience in major trauma or a relevant clinical subspecialty.
• Ability to prioritize and discharge plan for a wide range of presentations is essential.
• Clearance of communication and well-demonstrated organizational skills.
• Experience of supervision, mentorship and appraisal of other staff members / students is essential.
• Contribute to a 5/7 working pattern and the out of hours/on call service.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Band 6 Physiotherapist qualification.
