About the role
The Manager, Digital Partnerships is responsible for leading the team of Negotiators and Associates who develop and execute all digital media plans from inception to completion. The Manager monitors all deliverables, ensuring work meets specifications and is correct, while overseeing teamwork, resource allocation, growth, and development. The Manager will drive the team to explore and identify non‑traditional partnership opportunities, critical to their development and the success of the Partnerships division. This role requires identifying partnership opportunities outside standard paid media environments and effectively maximizing communication across owned and earned media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients on marketplace intelligence, negotiation, and partnership needs, aligning with client KPIs
- Maintain daily client contact, manage requests, and foster relationships with media partners
- Present plan recommendations, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams
- Act as a key liaison, mentor associates, and ensure high‑quality work standards
- Lead strategic media planning, participate in KPI and RFP development
- Manage partner negotiations, oversee budget and billing, and maintain campaign oversight
- Provide guidance on reports and presentations, manage Analytics and Ad Ops relationships
- Secure competitive marketplace pricing, foster strong media partner relationships, and apply knowledge of MAGNA's investment strategies
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of media tools as well as syndicated tools
- Demonstrated ability to develop integrated marketing communication plans encompassing traditional and non‑traditional media strategies
- Ability to delegate and oversee Associates and Negotiators workload
- Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology: DoubleClick DART, Atlas DMT, MediaMind
- Experience across a variety of media channels
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of third‑party Internet marketing research: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, NetRatings, and others
- Ability to communicate concisely and clearly both orally and in writing
- 4+ years of experience in digital media planning

Pay
Salary range: $85,000 – $90,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range depends on factors including market considerations, budget, tenure, skill set, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule
Minimum three days per week in the office, with the objective of increasing to five days over time. Many agencies and corporate groups already require five days of in‑office attendance.
