252173 (KA) Pharmacy Support Worker - Higher Level
About the role
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Pharmacy Support Worker (PSW), Higher Level, to join our well-established pharmacy team. Our team consists of pharmacy technicians, trainee pharmacy technicians, and PSWs, all working together to ensure the safe provision of medicines across the RIE site. PSWs are key members of the service, supporting the effective and safe delivery of pharmacy services.
Your role will include assisting in the preparation and distribution of medicines, maintaining stock control, and assisting with workload in the dispensary.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop the necessary skills.

Requirements
- Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- - National 4 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics and a Science (Biology or Chemistry)
- - Educated to/or within 12 months following probationary period completion of: SQA Pharmacy Services Group Award (GA) SCQF Level 6 and specific education requirements for specific areas within pharmacy
- - Relevant work experience in a healthcare or pharmacy environment
- - Completion of Healthcare Support Workers induction standards
- - A diligent, reliable, and flexible approach to work
- - A proactive and professional approach to patient care.
- - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay
£29,103 – £31,409 (including evening, weekend and public holidays commitment)
