About the role
The Department of Laboratory Medicine, Biochemistry/Serology, NHS Lothian is seeking a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist to join their team in Blood Science. The role is available as a Band 6 or Band 6U position.
Responsibilities
- Experience working in a Laboratory Medicine Laboratory as a BMS Biochemistry/Serology
- Interest in developing and improving services
- Undertake 24/7 duties in appropriate departments
- Flexible to provide cross-site cover when needed
Requirements
- HCPC registration and sufficient laboratory experience at Biomedical Scientist level (Specialist Portfolio)
- Laboratory experience equivalent to a Specialist Biomedical Scientist for Band 6U
- Willingness to undertake the IBMS Portfolio in Blood Sciences or Biochemistry for Band 6U
Qualifications
- HCPC registration

Pay
