Pay
- Non-Exempt (Hourly): $36.15 - $38.53 per hour

About the Role
The 24/7 Programs Peer Supervisor provides clinical, administrative, and CPSS supervision to all Peers via direct clinical and supervisory work within 24/7 programs (AIU, CTC, MCOT, YMCOT, PHRC, and Keller).
Responsibilities
- Assist in hiring, training, coaching, developing, and evaluating qualified staff
- Update job descriptions as necessary and monitor required program trainings and State certification
- Maintain supervision logs to ensure CPSS Trainees meet State requirements outlined in RCW 18.420 and WAC 246-929
- Oversee training, supervision, and continued professional development of direct reports
- Consult with the Director of Residential and SUD Programs, Director of Inpatient Services, and Crisis Services Manager regularly regarding all aspects of the Peer program, including clinical and administrative procedures
- Provide strength-based supervision and coaching to staff to maximize their strengths, enhance critical thinking skills, and reduce mental health stigma
- Provide supportive coaching to Peers to support the crisis response process and other programming
- Serve as an expert facilitator for high-profile or complex community members
- Coach peers to use lived experience, trauma-informed language, and peer-specific skills to ensure quality interactions
- Coach individual staff to maintain boundaries within their role while supporting the clinical direction of the team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data collection per agency policies and WAC requirements
- Ensure EHR documentation meets agency and WAC requirements
- Actively participate in the agency’s monthly All Peer meeting and encourage reports to attend
- Provide education to the department and agency on Peer services and collaboration with Peers
- Assist department leaders and support clinical staff in understanding the Peer role
- Provide on-site clinical support to staff as needed and coordinate staff coverage
- Work as an integral member of the KMHS supervisory team and represent KMHS positively in the community
- Develop positive working relationships with other community agencies for promotion, networking, and education about Peer services
- Provide consultation, education, and training to KMHS staff, school personnel, and other agencies regarding clinical and program issues
- Attend relevant conferences and professional trainings as requested by the agency
- Perform any other responsibilities appropriate to the position
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of Certified Peer Support Specialists across 24/7 Programs
- Hiring, coaching, training, and direct supervision of direct reports
- Collaborate with program director in the annual performance review process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, or other behavioral health field or high school diploma or GED with at least 10 years of experience working in Peer services, recovery support, and/or supervision/program management in social services/peer programming
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- One year of supervisory experience
- Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration
- Completion of the Washington State Health Care Authority training and certified Peer Support Specialist
- Must meet all agency driving requirements, including being at least 21 years old, having been licensed for a minimum of three years, successfully completing a motor vehicle history check, possessing and maintaining a current, valid driver’s license in Washington, and having reliable, insured transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, social services, or other behavioral health fields
- Two or more years of experience in a supervisory role
- Washington License (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC)
Skills
- Working knowledge of mental health rehabilitation standards, evidence-based practices, peer roles, recovery concepts, and state/organizational requirements
- Working knowledge of HCA and DOH updates for CPSS licensure
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, clients, organizations, and the public
- Clear and concise communication
- Experience working with adults with complex mental health needs
- Capacity to effectively manage a team
- Experience providing direct service to individuals living in poverty with complex needs
