The Cycle Counter position within the Sales and Shipping Support department plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, record maintenance, and resolving discrepancies.

About the role

This position requires six months of experience in manufacturing or distribution settings, familiarity with cycle counting processes, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is also required. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Generate cycle count lists and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Analyze completed cycle count lists to identify discrepancies and document resolutions.
• Reconcile actual inventory against records and determine causes and variances.
• Update counts according to guidelines and prepare inventory reports.
• Organize and maintain all necessary records, files, and documentation.
• Aid in locating inventory items and ensure proper storage and organization.

Requirements

• Education and experience: Six months experience in manufacturing or distribution settings, plus relevant cycle counting experience.
• Knowledge and personal attributes: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, write routine reports, apply common sense understanding, work independently, count accurately, and possess strong mathematical skills.
• Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, and a working knowledge of SAP (preferred).

Pay and Schedule
