About the role

The Wholesale Credit Delivery Asset Securitization Group (WCD-ASG) Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction covering capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling. After training, Analysts join the WCD-ASG team, supporting senior investment banking professionals in underwriting and managing debt capital for Truist’s securitization clients.

Analysts collaborate with Corporate and Investment Bankers, Product Specialists, and Risk Managers to deliver capital and strategic solutions. Post-transaction, they lead credit relationships, monitor credit profiles, and manage exposure levels. The program introduces Analysts to corporate finance and securitization debt analysis, focusing on clients’ debt profiles and asset cash flow analysis to sharpen financial skills.

The position is typically a two-year role, with potential for a one-year extension. This role is based in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior investment banking professionals in underwriting and managing debt capital for securitization clients.
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Investment Bankers, Product Specialists, and Risk Managers to deliver strategic solutions.
  • Analyze companies’ financial and asset performance, evaluate industry trends, and identify key risks and mitigants.
  • Structure deals according to lending parameters and conduct asset cash flow analysis.
  • Lead credit relationships post-transaction, actively monitor credit profiles, and manage exposure levels.

Requirements

  • Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation date of December 2026 through June 2027.
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must have been a 2026 summer intern at Truist.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business or STEM major.
  • Strong interest in finance and investment banking.
  • Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework.
  • High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement.
  • Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.

Pay

Annual base salary: $100,000.
