2027 Wholesale Credit Delivery - Asset Based Lending - Analyst Program (INTERN CONVERSION)

About the role
The Wholesale Credit Delivery – Asset Based Lending (WCD - ABL) Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction covering capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling. After training, Analysts are placed with the WCD - ABL group, supporting senior investment banking professionals in delivering financing solutions that combine structuring expertise, industry insights, and distribution capabilities.
Analysts contribute to the origination and underwriting function, gaining exposure to loan structuring, execution, and syndication. Responsibilities include developing models, internal screening materials, and external pitch materials that analyze clients’ credit and collateral performance, with a focus on working capital assets securing WCD - ABL loans.
The position is typically a two-year role, with the possibility of extension for an additional year. Analysts work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and should have strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support senior WCD - ABL professionals in driving business growth.
- Contribute to the origination and underwriting of secured loans.
- Develop financial models, internal screening materials, and external pitch materials.
- Analyze clients’ credit and collateral performance, with a focus on working capital assets.
- Gain exposure to loan structuring, execution, and syndication processes.
Requirements
- Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation date of December 2026 or June 2027.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must have been a 2026 Truist summer intern.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business or STEM major.
- Strong interest in finance and investment banking.
- Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework.
- High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement.
- Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
Location
This position is based in Atlanta, GA. Truist Securities has offices in multiple U.S. cities, including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.
Pay
The annual base salary for this position is $100,000 across all locations.
