About the role

Truist’s Wholesale Credit Delivery – Asset Based Lending (WCD - ABL) Analyst Program begins with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction that consists of an introduction to capital markets, products and services, accounting, corporate finance, systems, and financial modeling training designed to give Analysts all the tools they will need to be successful. After the classroom training, Analysts on this team will be placed with the Wholesale Credit Delivery - Asset Based Lending group and play a meaningful role in supporting senior investment banking professionals.

Our Wholesale Credit Delivery - Asset Based Lending group delivers a wide range of financing solutions. We combine market-leading structuring expertise with detailed industry insights and broad distribution capabilities to design a customized strategy that best meets our client’s needs. Analysts will work closely with senior WCD - ABL professionals to help drive the growth of the business. Wholesale Credit Delivery - Asset Based Lending is recommended for analysts with an interest in commercial and corporate secured lending.

As an analyst, you will work closely with the WCD - ABL team and contribute to the origination and underwriting function of the group while gaining exposure to the structuring, execution, and syndication of loans. Analysts will work with senior professionals in developing models, internal screening materials, and external pitch materials which provide analysis of our clients’ credit and collateral performance. Analysts will take a deep dive into understanding the working capital assets securing WCD - ABL loans. The WCD - ABL Analyst position is typically a two-year position. At the end of the two-year period, Analysts may be asked to remain in the role for an additional year.

Responsibilities

• Support senior investment banking professionals in the Wholesale Credit Delivery - Asset Based Lending group
• Contribute to the origination and underwriting function of the group
• Gain exposure to the structuring, execution, and syndication of loans
• Develop models, internal screening materials, and external pitch materials analyzing clients’ credit and collateral performance
• Analyze working capital assets securing WCD - ABL loans

Requirements

• Completed BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation date of December 2026 or June 2027
• Overall GPA of 3.0
• Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must have been a 2026 summer intern at Truist

Preferred Qualifications

• Business or STEM major
• Strong interest in finance and investment banking
• Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
• High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
• Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program

Skills

Pay

Annual base salary: $100,000
