About the role

As a 2027 University Undergraduate Intern in Human Resources, you will gain hands-on experience through meaningful projects that help build your technical and professional skills. You’ll work on strategic projects that enhance our Talent Management practices and make recommendations woven into the fabric of the organization. The role includes personal interaction with office and field employees, Phillips 66 HR leadership, and other interns, along with diversified training through on-the-job assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Work on strategic projects that enhance Talent Management practices and make actionable recommendations.
  • Engage with office and field employees, HR leadership, and other interns.
  • Participate in on-the-job assignments to assist in developing a great workplace.
  • Take part in orientation, training events, field trips, social activities, and weekly seminars.
  • Receive continuous coaching from your manager and guidance from an assigned mentor.
  • Deliver a presentation at the end of the summer to senior business leaders and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Management, Data Science, Industrial Organization, or equivalent.
  • Greater than 30 hours of earned college credit.
  • On track to graduate between Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
  • Available for a minimum of eleven continuous weeks.

Qualifications

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale (preferred).
  • Previous work experience in Human Resources and/or related industry (preferred).
  • Willing to work in any of our operating locations (preferred).

Pay

This position has a pay range of $1,798.00 - $2,689.00 bi-weekly, dependent on a candidate's degree type and expected graduation date.
