About the role

As a 2027 University Intern in Procurement, you’ll be at the center of our operations, learning about various business units while working to find the best solutions for our stakeholders. Procurement is vital to every aspect of Phillips 66—we source, buy, and contract thousands of materials and services, interfacing with most facets of the business.

This summer internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, influence change, and make a tangible impact on how we do business.

Summer Internship Activities

• Orientation and training events, field trips, social activities, weekly seminars, and opportunities to meet and interact with business leaders and executives
• Continuous coaching conversations with your manager to provide meaningful feedback throughout your internship
• Mentorship by an experienced team member for guidance, assistance with technical challenges, and help navigating day-to-day questions in a corporate environment
• Presentation of your work to senior business leaders and key stakeholders at the end of your internship

Responsibilities

• Attain business and functional knowledge by learning how Procurement plays an integral role in our company’s supply chain, from requisition to supplier management
• Become familiar with all functions within Procurement and gain competence in your group’s work processes and systems
• Demonstrate your analytical and process improvement skills through challenging, rewarding projects linked to business operations
• Grow your network by participating in business, networking, and social activities with peers and leadership across the company

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or equivalent field of study
• Greater than 30 hours of earned college credit
• Graduation date of August 2027 or later
• Available for a minimum of eleven continuous weeks from late May through early August

Qualifications

Preferred:

• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
• Previous internship with Phillips 66
• Previous internship or co-op experience in a related industry
• Willingness to work in any of our operating locations

Pay

This position has a pay range of $1,798–$2,914 bi-weekly, dependent on a candidate's degree type and expected graduation date.

Schedule

Internship opportunities will be located in Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OK, running for a minimum of eleven continuous weeks from late May through early August.
