2027 Tech Research Intern
Internship Format
This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns will be based at the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and are expected to work on-site 5 days per week, depending on business needs. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2027.
About the role
Join Stellantis Product Development & Technology (PDT) as a Tech Research Intern. As an intern within the Tech Research team, you may work within one of the following areas:
- Powertrain Systems & Controls
- Energy Storage Innovation and Strategy Execution
- Advanced Autonomy & Disruptive Synthesis
You will receive an opportunity to acquire valuable skills that will boost your future career potential, and you will gain hands-on experience working among technology leaders and fellow interns and will deliver technical solutions aligned with our software strategy. You will have the opportunity to present and share your project to our Product Development & Technology Senior Leadership team. The goal of our PDT internship program is to create a pool of experienced candidates that can be considered for permanent positions in our organization who will contribute to our purpose: powered by our diversity, we lead the way the world moves.

Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering at an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program
- Must be willing and able to work in a plant environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Willingness to relocate for internship, if applicable
- Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited college or university by the spring of 2027
- Authorized to work in the United States

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
- Strong interest in the Automotive Industry
