About the role

The Wesco Summer Internship Program is a ten-week project-based assignment designed to provide real-world professional experience within a Fortune 250 company. Interns will work directly under the supervision of one of our department managers and gain exposure to various business areas including Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Information Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - Minimum B.S./B.A. in a business-related field such as Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration. A degree in progress is acceptable.
• Strong technical skills and organizational/interviewing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Result-oriented team player with high attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior internship in a business-related field preferred.
• Experience working for an industrial distributor, contractor, or supplier preferred.
• Able to travel up to 25%.
