Summer 2027 Internship Program

About the role

Our internship program gives a dynamic group of emerging, high-potential rising university seniors the opportunity to participate in a 10-week summer internship at an iconic brand and industry leader in personal care and home fragrance. This internship will provide a comprehensive view of the various functional areas within the brand. You will work alongside and learn from Bath & Body Works associates who will provide training, development, and engagement in your function and our brand. Your ideas and insights will be meaningful and valued in influencing our business.

We are looking for interns to learn and support our business strategies through curiosity, a passion for retail, and a can-do attitude.

Program Areas

• Merchandising: Merchant insights inspire our business. From research to concept to reality, our merchants deliver products consumers want now—and next.
• Finance, Accounting & Analytics: Teams go beyond numbers—budgeting, planning, and analyzing data to drive smart decisions. Internships include Corporate & Brand Finance, Internal Audit, Tax, and Analytics.
• Planning & Allocation: Merges brand storytelling with strategic inventory management to get the right products to the right places at the right times. Internships include Space Planning, Inventory Allocation, or Central Planning.
• Design: Shapes every collection—crafting concepts, packaging, and products. Internships include Graphic Design, Package Design, Web Design, Interior Design, Technical Design, and Visual Merchandising.
• Supply Chain Operations & Logistics: Delivers flexible, scalable solutions globally. Internships include Distribution Center Operations, Product Safety, Supply Chain Analytics, Commercialization, Global Vendor Management, and Product Development.
• Marketing: Creates and communicates brand stories. Internships include Brand and Paid Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Communications, Consumer Insights, and creative roles like graphic design and copywriting.
• Store Operations: The operational backbone of the brand. Internships include Store Learning & Development and Inventory Management.
• Human Resources: Partners with leadership to shape strategy, develop talent, and foster a culture of belonging. Internships include Employment Compliance, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management.
• Information Technology & Digital: Delivers innovative solutions across the business. Internships include Digital Analytics, Digital Marketing, Front End Web Development, Digital Production, Application Development, and Data Engineering.

Requirements

• University current juniors pursuing their bachelor's degree and in good academic standing
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week during summer 2027 (June 1–August 6)
• No extended PTO
• Computer fluency with programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Innate curiosity and desire to learn, strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Passion for retail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship, customer service, or leadership experience
• Ability to manage through conflict and problem-solve
• Strong communication and presentation skills; can concisely present complex information
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
