2027 Summer Internship Program (Starts June 2027)
About the Program
The Wesco Summer Internship Program is a ten-week project-based assignment designed to provide real-world professional experience at a Fortune 250 company. Interns develop their skillset and business acumen, gain product and industry knowledge, and engage with other summer interns as well as senior leaders. The program offers early VIP access to interview for post-graduate developmental programs in Sales, Supply Chain, Information Technology, and Finance.
Interns work directly under a department manager, learn through on-the-job training and job shadowing, and support one of the following business areas:
- Supply Chain
- Finance
- Marketing
- Information Technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in progress—minimum B.S./B.A. in a business-related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration).
- Strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Result-oriented team player mindset.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior internship in a business-related field preferred.
- Experience working for an industrial distributor, contractor, or supplier preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Pay
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or collective bargaining agreements. Eligible positions may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, and certain sales roles may offer a commission structure.
