2027 Summer Internship Program - Quality Engineering
About the role
Trex Company, the world's number one decking and railing brand and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking a Quality Intern to take part in our Summer Internship Program.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers and quality professionals with routine tasks and reporting, collecting data, and structured data analysis
- Support all continuous improvement quality initiatives projects
- Complete time studies of existing quality professionals and implement improvements to drive improved efficiencies within department
- Evaluate and streamline data collection storage of quality department
- Develop automatic reporting of quality data real time
- Monitor quality professional tasks and mitigate any safety risks of completing the tasks
- Complete small projects as needed by quality manager or director
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program
- Successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework or be an upcoming Junior or Senior
- GPA of 3.0 or above
