2027 Summer Internship Program - Global Technology & Solutions - Data Engineer
Job Description
Interns assist designated department management and staff in performing assigned tasks under direct or general supervision. This Global Technology & Solutions (GTS) internship functions as a Data Engineer Intern. The role is in‑person in Mount Laurel, NJ, with a requirement to be in the office up to four days a week.
Responsibilities
- Build an understanding of the businesses and customers the role supports.
- Answer and direct incoming calls internally and externally.
- Provide support for the manager and other areas as indicated.
- Assist in completing various departmental projects and reports.
- Assist with operational and administrative functions.
- Perform diversified clerical duties as assigned.
- Support or partner with several business functions, areas, or departments.
- Participate in various projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Currently enrolled in a four‑year college program; graduation date of May 2028 preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Entry‑level position; no prior work experience required.
- 3.2 GPA or higher preferred.
Skills
- Some knowledge of data warehousing, big data, and/or Hadoop preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in an office environment.
Pay
Base pay: $30.74 USD per hour. Compensation may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, geographic location, and business needs.
Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours per week. In‑office attendance required up to four days per week.
