About the role
As a junior intern in the Technology Track, you will work on technology projects within System IT, which collaboratively imagines, plans, delivers, runs, and measures business technology solutions to support the stability, integrity, and efficiency of the nation’s monetary, financial, and payments system. You will be assigned to one of our IT areas, including but not limited to information security, data management, software development, business operations, or end user services.
Responsibilities
- Coding software and testing code
- Preparing and managing data
- Running competitive analyses and research for technology teams
- Analyzing current and new technology architecture designs
- Implementing and deploying applications across multiple environments
Requirements
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to assimilate new information and manage multiple tasks
- Basic programming skills in one or more areas: Java, JavaScript, SQL, Scala, Python, HTML/CSS
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to grasp information quickly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work productively in a high-performance team atmosphere and as an independent analyst
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in computer science, information systems, application development, or business technology
- Expected graduation between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or status as a “protected individual” under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligibility to sign a declaration of intent to become a lawful permanent resident and thereafter a U.S. citizen when eligible
Benefits
This is a paid internship with a salary range based on an annual rate of $72,100, paid semi-monthly over the 10-week program.
