2027 Summer Intern - Logistics

About the role

Motrex LLC is an exclusive service provider to Stryten Energy, a $1 billion leader in stored electrical energy solutions, including batteries and associated equipment and services for the transportation and industrial markets. Motrex’s corporate headquarters is located just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. The internship will begin in May 2027 and end in August 2027 and will work 40-hour weeks, with expectations of being on-site daily. This is a paid opportunity, but housing is not provided, so you must have both housing and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and simplify the invoicing process for 3rd party freight vendors in the transportation management system
• Learn the logistics of the transportation management system from order to cash
• Learn both the operational side and invoicing side of managing a carrier base within a system
• Model and work with real data sets to solve business problems with data analysis
• Use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and the Transportation Management System
• Use Tableau business intelligence software

Requirements

• Working toward a BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029
• GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Must have housing and transportation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
