FMC’s Legal Department is looking for motivated and detail-oriented summer interns interested in joining our 2027 summer intern cohort. FMC’s internship program provides each student with hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and the chance to connect with students from various universities and business functions across the organization. Our Legal internships are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the corporate legal function and prepare you for a successful career in law, compliance, and corporate governance. You will be assigned meaningful project work that will enhance and develop your legal knowledge, analytical skills, and business acumen.
Internship duration typically lasts throughout the summer (Early June through August) at our FMC Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and other legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Support business transactions and strategic initiatives by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing legal and corporate information.
- Maintain and organize legal records, contracts, and regulatory documents in accordance with FMC’s governance requirements.
- Assist with compliance activities, legal research, audits, and regulatory requirements to support FMC’s ethics and compliance programs.
- Participate in legal and business meetings, document key takeaways, and support communication.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or graduate degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic law principles.
- Ability to perform administrative work with a high degree of proficiency and autonomy.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on details and accuracy.
- Candidates must have completed the first year of undergrad.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
