Position Overview

This position is responsible for supporting projects, processes, and initiatives within the Legal department and its related functions. The intern will gain exposure to a variety of business and operational activities while assisting with day-to-day responsibilities and special projects that support departmental and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a foundational understanding of departmental operations, processes, and business practices
  • Support projects, research efforts, and administrative activities as assigned
  • Assist with the collection, organization, review, and maintenance of documents, records, and information
  • Create, review, and maintain reports, presentations, spreadsheets, or other materials related to departmental initiatives
  • Conduct research and summarize findings to support business, regulatory, operational, or strategic matters
  • Collaborate with team members and business partners to support ongoing projects and learning opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by assisting with process documentation, organization, and workflow enhancements
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives that support departmental goals and priorities

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Second year law student pursuing a JD strongly preferred
  • 0-2 years' relevant experience required
